STEP 1.

Purchase your domain name or a domain name that represents your area of expertise. For example,  If you are a Software Developer with SQL expertise. You might choose a name like www.sql-expert.com.  using your own name as your URL is effective as well, Your-Name.com.  If  the .com version of your name is already taken, look at the the other TLDs, .info, .me, etc. there are several to choose from. You can purchase your domain name through iCareer Portal for $9.99. BUY YOUR DOMAIN HERE!

If you choose not to purchase your domain name, you can choose a subdomain from iCareer Portal, Your-Name.icareerportal.net at no extra cost.

STEP 2.

Purchase your plan – We have two plans, Basic and Executive. In a nutshell, the Basic WordPress powered Career Blog ($35 Setup fee, $9.95 per month) is the fastest way to get your career blog up and running.  You provide your resume and some basic information to us and we build your Career Blog for you.

The Executive WordPress Powered ($35 setup fee, $14.95 per month) gives you more features that will really take your Career Blog to the next level. It includes tracking and reporting,  a mobile version of your Career Blog, a reputation management feed, ability to add additional photos, video and other media. STEP 3.

Once you have made your selection and purchased your WordPress powered Career Blog you will be redirected back to our site to complete the process by filling out a short form.  Here you will be asked to provide your full name, email address,  social media ids (not passwords) to accounts you might have on Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook or YouTube and your resume and or cover letter.

After you have successfully submitted this information, our representative will contact you via email to schedule a time for your 1/2 consultation.  During this call, we finalize any other information we might need to get your Career Blog up and running. We will also schedule your 1 or 2 hour Career Blog Coaching Call to go over all the things that you will be able to do once your Career Blog is up and running. We walk you through how to use you Career Blog, create posts and get the most out of the features in your plan.
